Hey there, I’m Monique, a Jacksonville, Florida native, lifelong sports fan, and a documentarian at heart.

Long before I ever picked up a camera professionally, I watched my dad tell our family’s story one photograph at a time. He was always behind the lens, capturing the quiet, everyday moments and the big ones we didn’t yet realize we’d want to remember. That’s where I first learned that photographs aren’t just images; they’re history.

That belief stayed with me and ultimately led me to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps as a photographer. In that role, I learned how powerful it is to document real life as it unfolds, to anticipate moments, work in unpredictable environments, and preserve stories with honesty and intention. It taught me to look beyond the surface and capture what matters.

Today, I bring that same documentary approach to everything I photograph. Whether it’s a family session, a milestone, or a holiday gathering, my goal is to create images that feel real, meaningful, and timeless, photos that tell your story the way it deserves to be remembered.
